As a professional and commercial photographer most of his life, William Combes longed to enter the fine art chapter of his craft. Through the years, he's entered several competitions with some good fortune. Most recently entering and winning his first Public Arts commission offered by the city of Boynton Beach, FL.
He photographed the four ecosystems (Ocean, Intracoastal/Mangrove, Scrub & Everglades) that is on a permanent display at Boynton Beach's new City Hall/Library as 4-10'X28' Black & White Murals.
William Combes is a firm believer that our lives, communities as well as our planet are enriched through public and privately owned art.
